Think Spring Happy Easter Card

The weather this week in Wisconsin has been beautiful and Spring like, so I am definitely "thinking Spring!" Never mind the 10 inches of snow expected Thursday-Friday...I started this card with a sparkly blue glitter paper that is part of our March club challenge- I chose to use it as the background behind a piece of vellum. I die cut the gorgeous Daffodils Stained Glass window die from Frantic Stamper out of black and attached it to the vellum. Then I colored the flowers and window with pastel markers from the back. I stamped an older Easter greeting (from Stampin' Up) and attached the vellum piece with floral brads.

I am entering this card in the "Think Spring" challenge at Dies R Us and the Anything Goes Challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

Your card is so pretty. Really looks like stained glass. And makes me think spring. Warming up here too but I know it won't last.

Just BEAUTIFUL Karen! Yes, it's been unseasonably warm here in NE Ohio and my poor flowers are all confused. The daffodils are ready to POP and I just know we'll get a snow storm and freeze them out! So sad! LOL
Anyways ... love your springtime creation! Thanks so much for playing in our ‘Think Spring’ challenge at Dies R Us! Please come back again soon!

What a beautiful card you made and we also have been thinking Spring with all the lovely warm weather we have had. And, even though we are to get snow, when it falls at this time of year it usually doesn't stick around long. So we can still think Spring.
