More Crackled Foiled and Some Negative Beauty from Gina K. and Therm O Web

One of the things I love about Therm O Web's Deco Foil is that there is no waste and we get two gorgeous images each time we foil! Take a look at this pile of negatives I saved from my play session making fun fold Christmas cards with the new Fancy Foils from Gina K. and Therm O Web:

All you need to use every bit of the lovely sparkle on these left over pieces are pieces of Therm O Web Toner Sheets and a hot laminator. I took the left over Deco Foil from the sentiment on the lower left and ran it through the laminator with a piece of toner sheet and here it is on the inside of this card:

Just look at the sparkle in the new Glittering Green Fancy Foil from Gina K. and Therm O Web! I also used the negative pieces from the green poinsettia pieces to cut out the Christmas using Tim Holtz's new Retro Merry Christmas die, and I punched the pine needles out of another green negative piece.

Isn't this poinsettia beautiful? I die cut the three layers with a Tim Holtz Tattered Poinsettia die and added a thick layer of Deco Foil Transfer Gel (using a technique I learned how to do in this video at the Therm O Web blog.) I dried the transfer gel covered pieces overnight. Then I crinkled up three pieces of Gina K.'s new Radiant Red Fancy Foil over and over until they were very wrinkled and then laid it on the three poinsettia pieces and ran them through a hot laminator. Next I layered pieces of Champagne Gold Deco Foil on them and ran them through again. The result is the gorgeous crackled distressed look you see.  Each layer of the poinsettia was raised with mounting tape for dimension. I added some gold Nuvo Crystal Drops and tucked the green foiled pine needles under. I love how this card turned out and will be proud to send it to someone special this Christmas!

I am entering this card in the NBUS challenge at Darnell's blog here. The Merry Christmas die from Tim Holtz and the Christmas Foil-Mates from Gina K and Therm O Web are NBUS (never before used schtuff. I am also entering it in the Anything Goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday.

Be sure to watch for my upcoming YouTube series on fancy fold Christmas cards with Gina K. and Therm O Web, and thanks for helping me #share the joy of creativity!

I can see you haven't been foiling around with these cards! Sorry, I couldn't resist that. Karen, you have really mastered foiling. Your cards are all just lovely.
