One, two, three or 4 layers to create unique cards so easily- that is what I discovered when I started playing with Divinity Designs new Star Layering Combo die set and I share many cards in my new video here. Here is the first card I made with the set:
Fun, right? But it is totally a mistake- I got a couple layers right and then glued on one or two wrong- but it is still a fun look. Here is a look at what it was designed to look like:
I used three different shades of peach on a teal card and turned the square into a diamond orientation. For the video, I wanted to find a new fun fold to feature the Star Layering Combo on and here is the first card I made with Tami White's large diamond easel fun fold idea:
I made an early Christmas card and this star was created with only one layer of the die and I paper pieced the silver glitter paper and the black snowflake paper into the openings. In the video, I share the template I created to make a version of this with a 5 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock that will fit into a 6 x 6 square envelope. I also share many more cards with different ways to design with this one versatile die set.
