Enabler Alert Cards Featuring Frantic Stamper, IO and Taylored Expressions Dies

This week I am sharing cards I made with new cardmaking products I am featuring in a new Enabler Alert You-Tube Video you can watch here. I fell in love with the Happy Modern Greetings die from Frantic Stamper on the card above and it jumped into my shopping cart along with the Taylored Expressions Curly Q Cutting Plate background die I used on the festive birthday shaker card above. The pictures show the card standing up and "all shook up."

I love love love stitched dies and also sentiment dies and so could not resist the Impression Obsession Patchwork Leaves and All the Best dies. I attached the new IO dies on a background that is created with dry embossing with an embossing folder and heat embossing with embossing powders that will be featured in a new YouTube video later this month.

For all the details on these and many other cardmaking products and lots of card samples, check out this YouTube video here. I am entering the second card above in the Anything Goes challenge at Scrapy Land (I used Impression Obsession dies.) Thanks for helping me #share the joy of creativity!

Peaceful Christmas Cards with Enabler Alert New Products

When I saw the new Memory Box Stitched Circle Trees die, I knew there would be no resisting- it was coming home with me. This snowy scene shaker card was the first card I created with it and I love how it turned out! This card is just one of many many new cards I shared on my newest Enabler Alert YouTube video here. On this card I also used Quietfire Design's Peace die cut from the new Love, Joy and Peace Ornament Set. (I loved that set so much I did 3 more cards with it and will be doing a YouTube video with them soon.) I also used a tiny deer from Tim Holtz's new Sizzix Winter Wonderland die set. I also used Tim's deer on this sweet peaceful scene:

The new Lawn Fawn Shadow Box Card die set was another must have the minute I saw it. Here is another view:

This die set creates a three dimensional box card and it can be used for any season or reason. I chose to make a peaceful Christmas scene with Tim's deer and an evergreen die. The peace die on this card is from another Tim Holtz Sizzix die set.  Here is a look at the card folded flat to mail:

Too cool- right? For all the details and to see the cards and products use, click here to see the short but sample packed video.

YouTube Enabler Alert with Samples- Soar!

I love to see what new products other cardmakers have found recently that they could not resist and I think that is the case for most of the readers of this blog and viewers of my YouTube videos. I post a new YouTube video every Monday and today I am sharing a bunch of new stamps, dies and other products I could not resist along with card samples for every product! Click here for my Enabler Alert video with many many card samples.

All week long I am going to share some of the card samples I made with the new products I am featuring here on my blog. Today I am sharing two cards I made with the new Soar die and Soar stamp set from Quietfire Design. I created a galaxy background with distress oxide inks, then attached the beautiful "Soar" die cut out of white cardstock. I stamped the "Shoot for the moon" sentiment on vellum and attached behind the card front, then added a couple punched stars.

Isn't the calligraphy gorgeous on the stamped sentiment from Quietfire Design on this card? I stamped it on a kraft cardbase and added a bird and some feathers which were foiled with the new colors of Fancy Foils from Gina K and Therm O Web and negatives of some Foil-Mates. Here is a look at the inside of this card and another lovely sentiment from the Soar stamp collection

To see all the sample cards and new products I am loving, watch this short but packed YouTube video here. And be sure to check back all week for more new card samples featuring the new products. Thanks for helping me #share the joy of creativity!

Happy Holidays 4 Kids at Send a Smile 4 Kids!

It’s Saturday and time for another fun challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids! This time our challenge is: Happy Holidays 4 Kids! Create and link any winter holiday card that is appropriate for a child and you could win one of our great prizes.

We have two very generous sponsors for this challenge: Little Blue Button Stamps is giving their winner a $10 gift certificate! And the winner from Stampendous will receive a $20 gift certificate!

My card features the Christmas Elements digi set from Little Blue Button Stamps. I paper pieced the cute Christmas owl, the Christmas tree and the Christmas bow and attached them to an Outer Stair Step pre-cut card from The Paper Cut. I added a lovely snowflake square from Poppy Stamps and a Happy Holidays sentiment die from Tonic Studios.

I am entering this card in the Anything Goes challenge at Scrapy Land. Thanks for helping me #share the joy of creativity!

Naughty Santa Cards with Kat Scrappiness Goodies

I was lucky recently and won a package of goodies from Kat Scrappiness that included a fun "naughty" die and stamp set you can find here. My favorite sentiment from that set is the Dear Santa note in the center of this card front- too funny! I die cut a stitched rectangle with a die from Lil' Inker and paper pieced a funny Santa from Paper Smooches (Santa Paws set.) Check out the funny "What the Elf?" sentiment too. I added a couple snowflake sequins from Kat Scrappiness for a perfect touch on the card front. The card has a tri-fold center as shown here:

I stamped another funny set of sentiments from Kat Scrappiness on the plaid tri-fold and that folds to fit the red piece on the back fold into the front of the card. I was having so much fun with this set of stamps and die as well as the cool sequin mix I received, so I made another "naughty" card:

I love using humor on my cards and also love shaker cards! The front of this shaker card says: "Santa, define: Naughty" and the "naughty" is a die that matches the stamp set from Kat Scrappiness. I die cut a window with a great die from Poppy Stamps called Evangeline Floating Square. I filled the shaker with fun winter sequin mixes from Kat Scrappiness called Snowy Day II and Magical Winter. Here is another look at the shaker "all shook up":

Thanks to Kat Scrappiness for these fun stamps, die and sequins I won. And thanks, too, for helping me #share the joy of creativity!

Happy Halloween Booogie Nights Card

Happy Halloween everyone! I am posting my last Halloween card that my bff should have received by now. I created a galaxy sky using Jennifer McGuire's technique for the spooky background on this card. Then I die cut and attached Tonic Studio's skeleton and "Booogie Nights" and added some bats die cut with dies from Impression Obsession and Karen Burniston.

I am entering this card in the Anything Goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday and the Creatures (bats) challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday. Thanks for helping me #share the joy of creativity!

Part Three of my Fun Folds with Gina K and Therm O Web Series on YouTube

I had so much fun designing fun fold Christmas cards with the new Fancy Foils and Foil-Mates by Gina K and Therm O Web that I made three videos for my YouTube channel! The video that posted today here shares how to make a pop up z-fold card and another technique for distressed cracked foiled elements. Here are a couple more pictures of this fun pop up card:

The card folds flat to fit into an A2 envelope and the foiled ornaments stand up on acetate strips. Be sure to watch the video here to find out how to make this card and get the links to all the products used.
