Crafting When We Can and Sweet Stampin" Challenges

Monochromatic is the theme of the challenges this week at Crafting When We Can and Sweet Stampin' this week. Lately I have been doing more monochromatic cards and loving the results. This is a card that would be perfect for a teenage boy especially one who likes to skateboard. The stamps are from a set called Freestyle Boarding from Raisin Boat. I started with some dp from Tim Holtz that had shade of grey on it. I stamped all the stamps twice except the Born to SK8, so there are shades of black and grey and a feeling of motion.

Love the idea of double stamping Karen, that along with the backing paper really gives this card an atmospheric air.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful work with us at Crafting When We Can Challenges. :-) xx
