More Than One Fold DCC at Repeat Impressions

It’s another Designer’s Choice Challenge at The House that Stamps Built, Repeat Impression’s blog. It is Patti’s turn and her theme is “More Than One Fold”. Why don’t you join us in this challenge and enter your project with multiple folds for a chance to win some awesome Repeat Impressions rubber? Please visit the blog for all the details and to see the other Rock Star's projects for this DCC challenge. I have seen them and you do not want to miss them!

I decided to try a many fold card called Double Display Card that I learned how to make here on this blog. The picture above shows the card standing up and open. Here is the front of the card closed with a ribbon:

On the left side of the front of the card I stamped Repeat Impression’s “Reach for the Stars” and die cut the star flourish from Memory Box. On the right front panel, I heat embossed RI’s star background with gold embossing powder. Here is a close-up look at the inside of the card:

I heat embossed one more RI star and stamped the perfect sentiment from the “you” stamp collection. I added some confetti embossed pieces (SU embossing folder) at the top and bottom folds on the card.

I am entering this card in the Anything Goes challenge at Crafting from the Heart and also the challenge at Live Love Laugh to use colored cardstock.

And don’t forget: For a 10% discount on any size order at Repeat Impressions, just make a note of my discount code (rr10kh), click on the blog badge on the side of my blog and go to the website here to shop and save!

Wow, your Double Display Card is just stunning!! Love this folding technique, but I haven't made one of them! Fab embossing and diecutting! The sentiment is perfect on the focal point!

I've looked around and see the Send a Smile 4 Kids link and will be heading over there as well:) My kids get excited about making cards for other kids, can they participate too?
Have a blessed day!

That is a wonderful fancy fold card. I don't do a lot of fancy fold ones myself, but I do love to see the end results of those who do make them. I really like the way you closed it with that gorgeous ribbon too.

Wow, Karen! The fold is crazy! Or should I say "folds", I don't know that I've ever seen a card with so many folds. Love that sparkly ribbon on the front. Great card.

What great texture and sparkle - you are so creative to use the star ribbon with the star stamps. Great job!
