Tonic Studios Entwining Trellis Screen Divider Card

It’s my turn to post on the Tonic USA blog and on mine and I am so excited to help premier the new Tonic Studio Entwining Trellis dies!  I love making Screen Divider Cards because they have four separate panels or canvases to inspire creativity. When I first opened my new Tonic Studios Entwining Trellis dies, I knew it was going to be hard to choose my favorite to design with, so I used three of the four Entwining Trellis sets on this card. Here are some views of the four panels both standing up and laying down:

I cut a green card base 12 inches by 8 ½ inches and scored it on the 3, 6 and 9 inch lines on my scoreboard. I punched the “feet” of each of the panels with a SU punch. The card folds to fit in a business size envelope and stands up to display the four canvases or panels.

I cut a piece of floral designer paper 2 ¾” x 7 ½” and die cut the Plush Peony die and the peony flowers. I removed the peony flowers, sponged them with a light blue blending ink and popped them back in the negative spaces of the floral panel after I attached it to the first green panel. I added some navy blue Nuvo Crystal Drops to each flower.

The second panel was die cut with the Delicate Daisy Entwining Trellis Die out of a blue piece that I attached with my Tonic Funky Glue Pen. I die cut the daisies several times in yellow and blue cardstock and layered them together before attaching with the Funky Glue Pen. I added a yellow or navy blue Nuvo Crystal Drop to complete these flowers.

I die cut the third light yellow cardstock panel with the Radiant Roselily die and attached it to the card. I die cut the roselillies out of blue cardstock and attached them with mounting tape. Of course I added my favorite self-leveling Crystal Drops to these flowers too.

The last panel was cut out of floral designer paper and allows the sender plenty of room to write a personal message below the blue daisy (from Delicate Daisy set) and the die cut Birthday Wishes (from the Birthday Wishes Indulgence Chalkboard Die and Stamp Set.)

I had fun playing with these new dies from Tonic and hope this screen divider card inspires you to play with some Tonic Studios dies soon. I suggest you subscribe to the new Tonic USA blog and/or follow Tonic Studios USA on Facebook here to see more ideas from the talented designers on the Tonic USA blog team using these dies and more.
