Whitewash Flowers Birthday Wishes
Birthday is the theme at The Squirrel and the Fox Challenge this week and I decided to share a birthday card I made using the Whitewash Technique. Here is a link to a tutorial, but basically you emboss an open image with white embossing powder on kraft paper. Then you cover the image with white kraft ink refill using a water brush. Let dry or dry with a heat gun and color with markers and blender pen. I cut out the flowers (from Stampin' Up) and popped them up with pop dots over a leafy diecut. The birthday sentiment is also from Stampin' Up.
I am also entering this card in the Anything Goes challenge at Divas by Design.

Have not heard of this technique but it looks very striking. Thanks for the link.
