Mondays are going to be twice the fun every other week here as I will be posting for my design teams at both Repeat Impressions and Critter Sketch. You can always scroll up or down to find the one you are looking for.
The Stamp of the Week this week at Repeat Impressions is "Bottoms Up" which cracks me up. I love those little duck buts sticking up in the water and the sentiment from RI seemed to be perfect for this fun card. This great stamp is available for 50% off this week only with a discount code found at Repeat Impressions blog, The House that Stamps Built.
I embossed the ducks with black embossing powder and sponged blue around them. I punched the side of a rust piece once with a Martha Stewart border punch and layered the white and rust on a blue piece. The sentiment piece and the half rosette were diecut and the large vintage brad is from SU.
I am entering this card in the challenge at Little Miss Muffet Challenges to use punches and diecuts on our cards.

First Critter Sketch Challenge Post
Just ask my grandson what my favorite color is and he will tell you Grandma loves green:) And it is finally starting to green up in central Wisconsin! Green and yellow is a great color combination and it is the challenge this week at Critter Sketch Challenges - use green and yellow in our cards. Our fantastic sponsor this month is Wags n Whiskers and their generous prize is 6 digital stamps or 3 rubber stamps from their awesome collection of stamps.
For my first card as a member of the design team at Critter Sketch, I chose to make a boy's birthday card with Wags n Whisker's cute racecar boy digital stamp. I paper pieced the car and his hat and raised the headlights and #1 on the side with mounting tape. The pennants on the top were cut with Nestabilities and I added green stickers for the sentiment. The background is embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder.
So come join the fun at Critter Sketch this week - pull out your greens and yellows and play along!
I am entering this card in the challenge at Simon Says Stamp to use paper piecing in our cards.

Lawnscaping and Paper Take Weekly Challenges
The challenge this week at Lawnscaping Challenges is "Let's Party" and at Paper Take Weekly it is "Anything Goes." I learned how to make this fun ice cream cone card at our local stamp club and altered it a little to make a birthday party invite for my grandson. It is basic shapes and a couple CB embossing folders, some sponging and a little stamping to make a cute party invite. The cake is from Repeat Impressions and the sentiment from TAC.

Send a Smile 4 Kids May Flowers Challenge
It's time for another great challenge from Send a Smile 4 Kids Challenge Blog! The theme for this challenge is May Flowers. Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More is proud to sponsor this challenge. Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More, a division of I Did It Creations, was created and is owned by Robyn Weinrib. Robyn offers a wonderful variety of digital stamps and papers designed to meet the needs of all digital paper crafting addicts for every occasion. Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More is happy to offer the winner of this challenge 5 digital stamps or 4 digital stamps and 1 digital paper of their choice!
I had so much fun designing with Robyn's great digital stamps that I made two cards. The first is a triangular easel card I made using "Flowers for Mom". I did some paper piecing and coloring and added some flowers on the front and the inside ones hold up the easel card.
The second card is made with Ms. Cutie Teddy Bear and she is a cutie! I paper pieced and embossed her dress and gave her a pearl necklace. The border punch is from ek success. I also paper pieced the flowers and used round colored stickers for their centers.
The card has a fun way of folding. The center (lighter pink piece) is cut 4 1/2 x 9 inches and scored at 4 1/2 and 2 1/8" lines. The front piece is attached on the fold only and the whole thing is attached to another piece (dark pink) 4 3/4" square. Of course you could make it any size you want but follow the folding idea above.
So come join us for this fun challenge and maybe you will be our lucky winner!
I am entering these cards in the challenge at Divas by Design for Anything Goes.

Dream Valley and One Stitch at a Time Challenges
The challenge this week at Dream Valley Challenges was to use flowers and at One Stitch at a Time it was embossing. This is the last of the cards I made while playing with a friend's new SU embossing folder with these pretty flowers. I simply embossed on a white piece and colored with a q-tip and dye inks. I stamped the sentiment (source unknown), rounded the corners and attached to a patterned purple cardstock card. CAS but nice, I think...

Wee Memories and 2 Sisters Challenges
The challenge this week at Wee Memories is to paper piece and at 2 Sisters it is to make a card for Mom. I had this digital stamp from my Help Katie purchase (see my blog entry regarding this great cause to help a fellow stamper), and it just seemed perfect for a fun Mother's Day card. The little bears are hugging Mama Bear and giving her a flower:) Awww.. Of course they are all paper pieced and cut out and attached to a card front made with my new Lattice Rectangles nestie. That die cut card front is attached to a smaller white card that opens for a handwritten greeting space on the inside.

What If? Wed. Sketch Challenge
The What If? Wednesday challenge at The House that Stamps Built (Repeat Impression's blog) is challenging us to create a card using the sketch below, post it to your blog and link it sometime in the next two weeks for a chance at a great prize. I used one of my favorite RI stamps - Belle the Bear - and some fun accessories to create my CAS card. Belle was stamped in brown and cut out. Her dress was paper pieced and her jacket and hat embossed and paper pieced as well. I was playing with my new dies from Nestabilities and discovered I like the positive and negative of the Foral Doily Motif. So I cut it in white and in light purple, slipped some sparkly green paper under the openings and put them together to create the circular frame. I added a button flower and a line of gems to complete the sketch.
So come join us at the RI blog to see the other Rock Stars takes on this sketch and to join in the fun.
I am entering this card in the challenge at Art Impressions Stamps to use animals on our cards.
