Altenew Layered Floral Cover Dies Series - Day 5

I am still having fun designing with the Altenew Layered Floral Cover Dies and today I am sharing a card where I embossed the Layer B onto a kraft A2 card base, and then sponged on Nuvo Citrus Green Embellishment Mousse for a subtle sheen. Then I simply die cut Layer A out of cream cardstock for a beautiful floral frame and attached. I added a banner cut and stamped with Tonic Studio's Beautiful Banner die and Invite Banner Stamps.

Altenew Layered Floral Cover Dies Series - Day 4

Today I am continuing my series of cards featuring Altenew's layered floral dies. I am CASE-ing one of Jennifer McGuire's ideas which was to layer the dies and then cut part out. I layered the cover dies A and B in different shades of blue and attached to a navy blue base, then cut out the bottom two flowers. I attached that to a white cardbase and added "follow your heart" from Penny Black and some sequins. So easy to make a beautiful card with these dies! I couldn't waste the rest of the layered roses so I put them in the inside of the card:

For Dads or Special Males at Send a Smile 4 Kids

It’s Saturday and time for another fun challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids! This time our challenge is: For Dads or Special Males (From the Kids.) Create and link any card appropriate for a Dad and you could win one of our great prizes.

We have two very generous sponsors for this challenge: Bugaboo is giving their winner 4 digis of their choice! And the winner from Die-Versions will receive a $15 gift certificate! TEAM S.A.S will also be choosing their favorite cards for our top three and the winners will receive a blog badge and an opportunity to be a guest design team member on a future challenge.

My card features a sweet peanut and his Dad from a Bugaboo Stamps digi set called "Nuts About My Dad." I printed them, paper pieced them and cut them out with a circle die from Tonic Studios. I embossed the card front with an embossing folder from Darice and colored the heart with a Nuvo glitter marker.

Altenew Layered Floral Cover Dies Series - Day 3

As I continue my series of blogposts featuring the new Altenew Layered Floral Cover Dies, today I am sharing a card that shows you don't need both of the cover dies to make a beautiful card. I embossed a white cardfront with the floral cover die A and also die cut it out of black cardstock. I used a sponge to color the flowers, leaves and in between with my new Distress Oxide inks. Then I simply glued the black die cut layer onto the card with my favorite Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

I am entering this card in the Flowers challenge at Dies R Us and the Favorite Die challenge at As You Like It. The Altenew layering floral dies are my favorite right now because it is so easy to make beautiful cards many different ways with them.

Altenew Layered Floral Cover Dies Series - Day Two

Today is day two of my blog series featuring different cards made with the new Altenew Layered Floral Cover Dies. I am having so much fun designing with these dies! It is so easy to make a gorgeous card with them. Pick some coordinating colors, die cut and attach. I started with a dark green cardbase this time, die cut layer A out of orange and layer B out of ombre watercolored light orange cardstock. I used my favorite glue (Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive with the fine tip) to attach them together perfectly. I added a stitched square wedding sentiment on top from Lil' Inker.
