Video- Holiday and Birthday Explosion Pop-Up Cards with New Karen Burniston Dies

I had so much fun designing with the new Explosion Pop-Up Die from Karen Burniston that I couldn't stop at just one card so I made three! I share all three cards and demo how to make today's Christmas card in my newest video here

The front of the card is pretty with an embossed Christmas tree on a snowflake background cut out with Karen's Rectangles Crosshatch die. I embossed all the trees on this card with a Tim Holtz Sizzix snowflake embossing folder and the sentiment on the front is from Memory Box.

But the best part of all cards made with Karen Burniston's dies is when the recipient opens the card:

The sides explode with the snowflake patterned paper and the Christmas tree (cut with the new KB Christmas Trees Pop-Up die) pops up. The Merry Christmas sentiment is also a new KB die and I am loving the font and size of that die!

To see what this card looks like when opened and how to create the explosion sides and the pop-up tree, you are going to want to take a few minutes and watch the video here.

I am entering this card in the Anything Goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday and at Dies R Us.
