More Inky Embossed Beauties from my Newest Video

I love this card I shared in my newest video here featuring the black out technique and a 3D embossing folder and die set from Memory Box called Anemone Bunches. If you haven't tried the black out technique yet, it is all over internet land and is easy to do. Simply add bright inks to the images on the  DEBOSSED side, then swipe with black ink to fill the flat areas and add a bit of highlighting to the images. I finished this card by spattering on white paint. I also created the following card with that technique and embossed white and colored lilacs made with a Simon Says Stamp embossing folder.

Here are a couple more cards I share in the new video where I simply added ink directly to the embossed backgrounds:

The card on the left features an Eyelet embossing folder from Stampin up and a fun sentiment die from Picket Fence Studios. On the card on the right, I swiped gold ink on a background created with a new Penny Black script embossing folder called Noted, and then added a stamped and die cut flower from 49 and Market and Sizzix.

Inking Images Created with Embossing Folders

I love creating backgrounds with embossing folders but find them a bit boring if they are all one color. In my new video here, I share many cards and many ways to add ink to embossed images taking them from average to awesome.

This is the card I show step by step how to create with a Simon Says Stamp lilacs embossing folder. I was inspired by a card and video by Caly Person to add light purple, dark purple and blue inks to the embossed lilacs in the foreground.

The background started out as embossed black lilacs but I swiped on Lisa Horton's Interference Cloud 9 Peacock Tails and then added a little copper highlights with Stardust Metallic pigments from Stamperia. I also used those two products on this card which was embossed with a script embossing folder from Penny Black called Noted.

Here is another card I share in the new video showing the two colors you get by swiping Lisa Horton's Peacock Tails Interference ink over both white and black embossing:

The embossing folder is a new one from Stampin Up and the layered sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.

To see many more inky embossed cards and how I made the lilacs card, watch the new video here.

I hope you have a great inky week to come!

Wax Seals and Embossed Die Cuts - You Have Never Seen 3D Like This!

I have never seen 3D wax seals and the new shaped 3D Emboss and Cut Folders from Spellbinders are different than any others on the market! I love the whimsical mushrooms on the Mushroom From Me To You 3D Emboss and Cut set and the Forest Mushrooms 3D Wax Seal Stamp matches it! This square column fun fold card with copper highlighted and embossed mushrooms is just one of the cards I shared in my new video here. I added the copper color on the blue embossed front shape with Stamperia's Martian Copper Metallic Pigment. The oval wax seal was create with Spellbinders Coral Must Have Wax Bead Mix.

I created the embossed shapes on this card with gold shimmer cardstock and the mushroom 3D cut and emboss folder. And of course the 3D mushroom wax seal is the focal point. I don't put wax seals on my envelopes but do love to use them as embellishments. This card is a Majestic M fun fold and here is the inside of the card standing up for display:

I embossed each of the peach pieces on each fold with the Mushrooms From Me To You 3D Emboss and Cut Folder and another diamonds Spellbinders 3D embossing folder.

I had great fun playing with the new Spellbinders 3D Cut and Emboss Folders and Wax Seals and hope my cards encourage you to give some of the ideas and products a try!

Spellbinders 3D To The Max Wax Seals and Embossed Shapes

Spellbinders has just released new 3D Emboss and Cut and 3D wax seal stamps that take 3D to a whole new level!  In my new video here, I share many cards made with the new Floral For You 3D Emboss and Cut Folder and matching 3D Peony Butterfly Wax Seal Stamp and above is the card and wax seal I made step by step in the video. It is a tri-fold with doors created with arched floral shapes created out of glitter pink and purple cardstock. The oval wax seal is more 3D than any I have made before and is even better IRL. Here is a look at the card open showing a tag and gift card in a pocket:

Here is another arched card I also made with the same embossing folder and die set as well as the 3D Peony Butterfly Wax Seal stamp. Both of these cards arched shapes were created with Spellbinders Essential Arches die set.

There are so many ways to create cards with these unbelievably textured 3D Emboss and Cut shapes and wax seals, and on this card I added color to the flowers and butterflies with brushed on inks;

I created a pocket with two of the embossed shapes and then tucked in a tag created with the smallest and added a wax seal to the tag. A gift card could also be tucked in there as well.

To see all the cards I created and how easy these 3D wax seals are to make, watch the new video here.

Crealies Frame and Inlay Shaped Heart Cards

Are you like me and think shaped cards especially with inlaid and raised stitched layers are so much more unique than normal shaped cards? I am sharing many heart shaped cards made with new dies from Crealies here and in my new video here.

I made these beautiful cards in just minutes with the new Double Card Heart die, Gatefold Card Heart die, and the new Felicity Frame and Inlay die set. Here is a look at the gatefold card open:

Here is another gatefold card made in no time at all with another new Frame and Inlay set called Eliza.

If you watch my videos, you know I like to find new ways to stretch Crealies dies and here is the tri-fold heart card I made in the new video:

I cut two of the Double Card Hearts, glued them together and decorated the front and sides with both of the new Frame and Inlay dies and other Crealies dies:

I am happy to share that Crealies dies shown can be purchased either on the Crealies website OR in the United States at the Frantic Stamper website here.
