Mitten Shaker Card and Ornaments with Birch Press Designs Dies

In my newest video, I showed how I made tags with the mitten shaker die set from Lil' Inker Designs. But of course you can also use the super cute mitten shaker die set to make a super cute card as I have done here. I die cut the mitten out of the center of a mittens designer paper piece and out of a plaid dp piece and you can see the stitching on the inside of the mitten piece and the outside as well which I love! I stamped the sentiment (from Gina K Designs) on a green piece behind the opening and attached acetate to the shaker front. I  created a well with my favorite thin foam strips from Motions Crafts and dumped in some sequins and glass beads. The cute stitched mitten cuff was created with two dies from this same set of dies from Lil' Inker Designs. Happy Holidays is a die from Tonic Studios. Here is a look at the card all shook up and some ornaments I made too:

I am a self confessed die cut addict and used two layered die sets from Birch Press Designs to make these ornaments for a couple dear friends for Christmas. Here are some more photos:

On both the ornaments I used several shades of Tonic Studios mirror card and layers A, B and C of Birch Press Designs Radiant Ornament and Issa Snowflake Die Sets. I love these layered die sets from Birch Press Designs and have so many of them on my wish list. The Best Friends on the back is a die from Tonic Studios.

Christmas is almost here and I want to take this opportunity to wish you and yours a blessed season no matter which holidays you celebrate. I hope you come back to visit in the new year as I continue to share the joy of creativity here on my blog and at my YouTube channel.

I am entering the card above in the Party Time celebration at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday. Christmas is party time, right? And in the Anything Goes challenge at Scrapy Land (Tonic Studios.)
