Bonus Video - No Heat Foiling With Deco Foil Duo Gel and Plantable Embellishments

Since we cannot meet friends for lunch or cards or stamp club or go to stamping classes or go out for dinner and a movie with my husband, I have decide to play with new dies and products and share an extra video on Thursdays for the foreseeable future. I had so much fun creating cards with the brand new Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo from Therm O Web and gorgeous plantable hearts and butterflies from Flower Seed Paper of Seattle I just had to share them in a new video!

The new Duo Gel can be used with or without heat so if you don't have a laminator or MINC you can still foil beautiful stenciled images. But even if you do (like me), with this new gel you can foil on vellum or acetate and on ribbon as I show in the video. I used some favorite stencils from Simon Says Stamp and Gina Marie Designs as well as the gorgeous Emerald Watercolor Deco Foil on the card above. The heart was attached with Removable Zots from Therm O Web so the recipient can take it off and plant it according to the instructions in the card and on the website. I asked and they said a little stamping or sponging with dye ink will not hurt the flowers sprouting and growth.

Both of these cards also have foiled ribbon on them and with the Duo Gel I could attach the gorgeous foil on the ribbon with my Gemini die cutting machine and no heat! Both were also created with vellum and the lovely cardstock you can see below the vellum is from JoAnn Fabrics Park Lane line. I also used Brutus Monroe Green Sketch Deco Foil and a Gina K Designs stencil as well as the same Gina Marie Designs stencil on the ribbon. The butterfly from Flower Seed Paper was sponged with a little ink and attached with Removable Zots.

Would you like to win one of these cards? Just watch the video here and follow the instructions as to how you could win one of the cards I make in the video. I am giving away three of the cards I show in the video on March 31st (my twin brother's birthday) so be sure to watch and comment before then!

The foiling really makes these cards special.
