Break Out the Cake and Celebrate March with Gina K Designs, Therm O Web and Karen Burniston!

I am celebrating March in a big way (see yesterday's blog post for what you can win!) and this sparkly birthday cake card is a great way to celebrate! The brand new Gina K and Therm O Web collection of foils, dies, stamps and foil-mates we saw at Creativation has now been released! I used Gina K's new Twinkling Pink Fancy Foil, several "Where's The Party" Foil-Mates, and her Time to Celebrate dies and stamps on the front of this sparkly card.

You can win the entire new Gina K/Therm O Web Stamp n Foil release here:   http://thermoweb.com/blog/paper-crafts/time-gina-k-designs-stampnfoil-release-enter-win/

And the party really breaks out when you open the card!
In a still picture it is hard to see, but the balloons pop up from behind the the square when the recipient opens the card! To create this pop up feature, I used a new die from Karen Burniston called Spinner Square Pop-up. I am showing this and all the cards I made with Karen Burniston's newest release in a video Monday March 5th so you can see the movement and all the sparkle at that time. I used Gina K's Foil-Mates for both the backgrounds and then ran the leftover foil through again with a toner sheet to get the negative images used on the super sparkly cake and balloons. I added some sequins from Doodle Paper Playground's Sparkle Blends to complete the card.

I am entering this card in the Anything Goes Challenges at Scrapy Land (I used Karen Burniston dies and at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday.
